Roll dice online, fairly

This dice roller lets you roll a dice, or many, right in your browser. Pick the die type, from a four-sided d4 up to a hundred-sided d100, set how many to roll, and press the button for a random dice throw. Each roll shows every die face and the total, plus the average per die and the highest and lowest values, so it works as a virtual dice for board games, tabletop role-playing, and any time you need a fair throw without hunting for real dice.

Genuinely random rolls

The rolls use your device's cryptographic random number generator, the same source trusted for security work, rather than a simple predictable formula. The tool also samples it carefully so that every face is exactly equally likely, with no bias toward low or high numbers. That means a d20 roller here is as fair as a well-made physical die, and often fairer than a cheap one.

Dice for games

Different games use different dice. Classic board games use the six-sided d6. Tabletop role-playing games use a whole set: d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, and the iconic d20, with the d100 for percentage rolls. Set the count to roll several at once, for example two d6 for a board game or several d6 for a handful of damage dice, and read the combined total straight away.

FAQ

How do I roll dice online?

Choose the die type and how many, then press Roll. The tool shows each die and the total. It works for d4, d6, d8, d10, d12, d20, and d100.

Are the rolls really random?

Yes. They use your device's cryptographic random generator with fair sampling, so every face is equally likely and the results are not predictable.

Can I roll more than one die at a time?

Yes. Set the number of dice, up to 100, and the tool rolls them all and adds up the total, along with the average and the highest and lowest.

What is a d20?

A twenty-sided die, used heavily in tabletop role-playing games. Select d20 as the sides and press Roll to use the d20 roller.

Is my information private?

Yes. Everything runs in your browser and nothing is uploaded or saved.
