What you get
The tool shows two things: how much money you save, and the price you actually pay. Type a 60 price with 25% off and you see a 15 saving and a 45 final price. It works with any currency, since the math does not care about the money symbol.
Two discounts do not add up
A common trap is thinking "20% off, then another 10% off" equals 30% off. It does not. The second discount comes off the already lower price, so the real total is 28% off. To check a stacked deal, run the first discount here, then use the final price as the new original for the second discount.
Spotting the better deal
Sometimes a bigger percent off a higher price saves less than a smaller percent off a lower price. Because this tool shows the money saved, not just the percent, you can compare two offers by the actual amount in your pocket, which is what matters.

How do I stack two discounts?
Run the first one, then take the final price and use it as the original price for the second discount. Do not add the percentages.
Does the currency matter?
No. Enter the price in any money and the results are in the same money.
Can it work out the original price from a sale price?
Not directly. This tool goes from the original price and percent to the final price. For the reverse, divide the sale price by one minus the discount.
Why is 50% off then 50% off not free?
The second 50% is taken from the already halved price, so you pay a quarter of the original, not nothing.
Is anything uploaded?
No. The math runs in your browser and nothing is stored.
How is the price after discount worked out?
The percent comes off the original price. A 25% discount on 80 gives a price after discount of 60, and the tool also shows the 20 you saved.
